About Masouraki
Hey there gang,
Masouraki is a small sewing atelier that I operate by myself... well, with the help of my two dogs , in Quebec city.
I started sewing in April of 2020. As a result of Covid-19, we were all looking for new hobbies to pass the time. It was then that a friend brought me a super cute, pink ,mini sewing machine to play with during my 14 days of confinement.
Well...
I fell madly in love 🤯
Having realized this is what I want to do, I quit my job and enrolled in a sewing school.It was impossible for me to stop sewing!
I felt so lucky that my new hobby, which I adore, could be my actual job. And then it came to me..
Climbing was super easy to connect with the project. Repairing and making climbing trousers, as well as ropebags and any kind of organizing bags for a climbing backpack was the first idea that popped up and is already in development !
It took me a while, though, to find ways of connecting my second passion, which is supporting activism in favor of all diversities , femininities, and self-determination.
One day, it struck me! What better way to pass your message than printing it on the most wearable accessory ever: bags!
That was it, the project was already on the racks!
